Helping Veterans with A Day at the Races at the Northport VA

On Saturday, April 12th, we assisted the veterans with one of their favorite activities, A Day at the Races. We help by wheeling them down from their rooms, chatting with them, and assisting with the game. Also present were members from some American Legions, Blue Star Mothers NY6, and a Gold Star Mother. We will be assisting at A Day at the Races again May and then in September when we pick up all of our support activities.

While at the Northport VA, we were able to see the large fish tank that is being maintained through our donation.
