We’re a group of local Nassau County, NY moms, grandmothers, and guardians whose children and loved ones serve or have served in the U.S. military. As part of Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc., we come together to support our troops, our veterans, and their families with care and pride.
You’ll often find us packing and sending care packages, marching in parades, visiting with veterans, and working with community partners to make sure no service member or family feels forgotten. Everything we do comes from a place of love, gratitude, and respect for those who serve.
If you’re a mother, stepmother, adoptive or foster mom, grandmother, or female guardian of someone in the military, National Guard, or Reserves, we’d love to meet you. Fill out our interest form, and one of our members will be in touch soon.
Service doesn’t stop with those who wear the uniform. It lives on in the hearts of neighbors, friends, and community members who give their time, support, and generosity to help us honor our heroes.
Here we highlight the incredible individuals and organizations who stand with the Blue Star Mothers of Nassau County NY14. Together, we serve those who have served our nation.
A Heartfelt Thank You
At this year’s Oyster Bay Oyster Festival, our Blue Star Mothers were honored by a generous donation from the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Sacred Heart #370 in Nassau County.
Their member Pauline stopped by our booth during the festival to present the donation, which supports our ongoing efforts to serve and honor local veterans and active-duty military.
We’re so grateful for this act of kindness and for the continued support of organizations like the Catholic Daughters, whose commitment to community and service mirrors our own. Thank you for standing with us and helping us care for our heroes.
